Day 1
First leg of our trip. 250km through the small roads of Germany at a leisury pace (80km/h). We spent the night next to a natural reserve for cranes, and a village named Egsdorf.
There is – there – an interesting story about a coal mining area that transformed into this natural reserve. 3 years before the fall of the wall in Eastern Germany. That makes me ponder.
A morning walk before getting behind the wheel. We collected plums from trees along the road. Beautiful acacia trees, gorgeous bark.
Today we're heading for Czech Republic via Dresden. A little bit of highway before it becomes too hot, then back on the quiet and cool roads.
